Quest 11 Online Apps

I'm in Google Docs typing this document for my post. This would be great to save this without needing a thumb drive or disc. I like the fact that I could share with others. Any or all of us could edit document and see each others edits. This is free, I don't need to worry about which version I'm using.

Quest 12 YouTube and Podcasts

Great way to find videos,you could spend a lot of time goofing around looking at some crazy videos. Some have great listening music too.

I looked at the different Podcast directories and could find some Podcasts about Libraries. But I couldn't get them to load. I think Podcast might be fun I'll try again later.

Quest 9 Wiki

Here I found things that would be very helpful. A wealth of information about a variety of different topics at the same place, and very easily accessable.

I actually went to ccplotaku wiki and viewed a few of their wiki pages. It was pretty neat.

Quest 7

Flickr is great. I love lighthouses so I found a photo of one to blog about. This is a favorite of mine because I visited this lighthouse last summer.

I think it's neat that you can go to one website and have access to my favorite links. Tagging helps to keep them organized.

When I used Advance Search in Library 2.0 I found a lot more results than when I used Tag Search, or Blog Directory. Technorati would be good to find blogs.

Quest 3

This was a great experience. I've heard people talk about it. I actually created an account and was IMing with a co-worker. It was great. It was like a telephone conversation over the computer. I think it's really neat.

Quest 8 social networking

This is really interesting, You could become a part of a very large circle. I can see how this could be very helpful in certain instances. I'm not ready to open an account at this time. I have concerns about providing my personal information on these public sites. At a later time as I become more familiar with these sites I may be inclined to try one or two out. Right now you cannot get too far because most of them want you to sign up. I did look at each one of them.

Quest 4

It's been a long hall. With the help of our on staff "Super Blogger," I have finally figured this out. My public bloglines url is http://www.bloglines.com/public/vsb29455. I enjoy my jokes of the day feed, Everyone can always use a little chuckle to get them through the day. I like the dictionary word of the day feed I may be able to expand my vocabulary. My news feed lets me view the news at a glance. I'm excited to learn these new things. Thanx.

Quest 1 Hardest thing/Easiest thing

It seems that the hardest thing to do is to view problems as challenges,but we do it everyday and not even think about. The easiest thing for me is to play.

Quest 2 Never say Never

This is something I never thought I would be doing. I am still learning the ins and outs of simple computer technology, but here I am overcoming what I thought would be an acute problem. I think I am blogging. Yeah!
